Ink Formulations

We offer two ink formulations of our 300-meter Toshiba TEC near edge thermal transfer ribbons: premium wax-resin and resin.

• Wax-Resin — The premium wax-resin ink formulation is ideal for a variety of applications, including barcodes with high density or extended characters. The wax-resin thermal transfer ribbon produces sharp, detailed prints that are smudge- and scratch-resistant.
• Resin— The resin ribbon ink formulation is best suited for applications that require maximum resistance to smudging, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. The resin thermal transfer ribbon produces prints that are exceptionally durable and have superior resistance to abrasion.

Our 300-meter Toshiba TEC near edge ribbons are available in widths ranging from 5.11"/130mm to 8.66"/220mm. If you need a longer ribbon, we also have 600-meter Toshiba TEC near edge thermal transfer ribbons.
