Epson ColorWorks CW-6500P 8” Color Label Printer with Peel-and-Present

New to the Epson ColorWorks family, the Epson CW-6500P inkjet color label printer prints 8-inch labels and comes with a peeler. The Epson ColorWorks CW-6500P color inkjet label printer features Epson’s Serial PrecisionCore technology and prints durable, full color labels (including GHS BS5609 labels) at a print resolution of up to 1200dpi. The Epson CW-6500P color label printer is designed as an upgrade to traditional black-only thermal transfer printers and will be available January 1, 2020.

With both remote printer management features and broad middleware compatibility (including SAP and ZPL II) the Epson CW-C6500P color label printer is meant to replace black-only thermal printers.

-        Remote Printer Management – The Epson CW-C6500P color label printer includes a variety of remote printer management tools so IT and support personnel can remotely deploy updates, monitor printer status, and more.

-        Broad Compatibility – The Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P color label printer is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems as well as a broad range of middleware, interface languages, and command extensions (ESC/Label, ZPL II, SAP, and more).

-        Applicator I/O Control Port – This port allows for automated workflows while the printer’s media handling capabilities, connectivity, and fast print speeds provide for a seamless transition.

-        Peel-and-Present – The Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P color label printer comes with an integrated peeler for print-and-apply labeling applications.

-        Image Quality – Powered by Epson’s Serial PrecisionCore technology, the Epson CW-C6500P color label printer produces crisp, full color barcodes and text up to 1200dpi with a huge gamut of accurate colors, fine image details, and smooth gradiations.

-        GHS BS5609 Label Printing – Print your own GHS BS5609 chemical drum labels with the Epson CW-C6500P color label printer and BS5609-certified labels.

What size label rolls will be supported?

3” cores with max 6” roll diameter (OD).

Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P Ink Cartridges

The Epson CW-C6500P color inkjet label printer uses four individual cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK) ink cartridges. These ink cartridges contain Epson UltraChrome® DL pigment ink. DuraFast Label Company sells Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500 ink cartridges here.
